If I don't stop now, I'll prolly continue updating my blog 'til I bled my brain dry 😩

Mann, I'm already thinking how I should write my Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Book Review; the Yaoi Manhwa I'll likely recommend for beginners; my advices on beginner players of Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All and Obey Me! Nightbringer; my views and review on the two Obey Me! games: and so many moreeee!!

Lord of the Mysteries: From a Rotten's POV

What's the difference between this uhh review and the first one? That was from an objective point of view; while this is from my subjective point of view. Oh, and this also contains spoilers. Proceed with caution. You have been warned.

 TW: MAJOR SPOILERS !!!

PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Writing the book review highly inspired me to write this blog and share my... Views on LOTM so much that I feel like I've been possessed by a Wraith; or maybe cued by someone from the Visionary Pathway; or maybe controlled as a marionette by someone from the Fool Pathway; OR MAYBE  I was parasitized by someone from the Marauder Pathway (hopefully it's Amon *prays piously to Mr. Fool*) to do their bidding! Did I just drop some bomb?

Anyway, it actually took me some time to choose which photo to use to clickbait people  lure people into reading this. In the end though, I chose to bait readers with Ouroboros' beauty.

Actually, since I am a rotten* jewel, this is actually focused on *drum roll* how sussy LOTM is. Seriously speaking though, one of the reasons why I love CTLD(in short for Cuttlefish That Loves Diving) is that we've got LGBTQIA+ representatives in two of her novels (I've only read two of their novels: LOTM and TMA)! We have gae pipz here!!!

There's the gaes-- Stephen Hampres, Psychology Alchemists; Ikanser Bernard, Machinery Hivemind (was implicitly mentioned); the trans-- every Sequence 7, Witch who was once men from the Demoness Pathway;  let's specially mention Natasha Orvarit from TMA, our bi Queen!

Let's proceed to our next topic: the ships! Of course, in every novels, fans shipping* characters with each other is inevitable. All great novels has normal and questionable ships from fans. Let's kick it off of course with my very first ship!!!! *drum roll*

       Leonard x Klein
        Dear Poet x Mr. Fool

I know male fans call us delulus* for even shipping them. We're all aware, alright? How can they not notice  the sexual (??) tension these two exuded right from the start??? That tension grew when they became colleagues! Things happened, they reunited and well, reignited that hidden passion again. I'm too excited about the next one so maybe I'll just edit this part about them again and skip into the next ship!!!

             Klein x Amon
             The Fool and That Fxxker

I know. It sounds indecent and crass but that's how fans call them. You can even search that in Pinterest and see fanarts named like that. People find it weird that we rotten pips ship them since these two are literally at each other's throats.  Wonder why we madly ship them? Heh. It's because of Amon's obsession on our dear beloved Mr. Fool!
Siri! Play Obsessed by Mariah Carey!
There was even a time when Klein pretended to be Amon just to scare off Medici hahaha. Y'know what they say! Couples who always spends time with each other and has deep feeling for one another starts to resemble their other half.

Ps. I will add more in the future but I will these two ships here for now.

Footnotes:

shipping - a desire or hope of fandoms for two characters to be romantically involved

rotten - is a slang for Fujoshis (females who likes romance between two men) and Fudanshis (males who likes romance between two men)

delulu - it's a short term for delusional

Lord of the Mysteries: A Rotten's Book Review

I honestly do not know what to post first on my blog page, but thennnnn! I figured out: why not start with something I love? So I guess I'll start off with a book review of one of my ultimate fave web novels.

        "Sigh..."

        "Mysteries."

I know it's weird to start with that line, but that is not the novel's opening line. Those two lines 100% sent shivers down my spine. Without context, it kinds of intrigues you, right?

Lord of the Mysteries, a title worth befitting of a novel shrouded in mysteries! A novel written by Cuttlefish that Loves Diving who also wrote Throne of Magical Arcana, The Sage Who Transcended Samsara, and Martial Arts Master.

A transmigration--themed book loaded full of mysteries, tragedy (though not as tragic as Yoo Joonghyuk’s 1863 regressions), horror, magic, dark fantasy, steam punk elements, and with just the right amount of comedy. Although it is an isekai with the cliché protagonist blessed and reborn with a golden finger (a Chinese internet slang for cheat skill), our dear transmigrator, Zhou Mingrui, is not an overpowered one.

This is a web novel with an excellent plot and one of the top novels with an amazing world building! One of the things I love in LOTM is how perfect the characterization is. The author really wrote all the characters with their own uniqueness and point of views so much that sometimes it didn’t feel like reading a novel, but more like gleaming on someone’s life! It’s like we’re spectators silently observing their every move, having a peek of their lives, given the chance to know their secrets.

One of my fave aspects of this novel though was the different personas our dear MC portrayed here. The multiple point of views of the characters really brings out the similarities and difference in their personality (some may be bring about by their uniqueness or their faith).

Do note though that due to the world-building of the first volume, it may come off as slow. The pacing would sometimes feel sporadic- sometimes fast, sometimes slow (with too much unnecessary—or maybe the author find necessary? – info) pace that it would leave you feeling like it was rushed, maybe author run out of ideas and was prolonging it? Though it does have its shortcomings, overall, it is a great novel and considered as the peak of web novels!

My only warning though: Be careful of the Spectator.
